[incoming]: Psi 0.9.2

Psi 0.9.2 can be found in incoming (tar.gz - packed PKGBUILD & filelist * pkg.tar.gz).

(Note: there's also .pkg.tar.gz because I wasn't aware of the complete submition procedure - that can be deleted)

PSI is already in extra. You only upload packages to INCOMING that are not in any of the repos.

If a package is out of date, flag it via the web interface.

Re: [incoming]: Psi 0.9.2

Hmm... k.

What does it happen if somebody wants to become the package maintainer for a package which is already in the repositories? I'm asking this because I am currently involved in the development of Psi and I'm an active participant in the Community.

Isn't it easier if the packs are built by the ones watching close the evolution of the application? (of course, under the supervision of the TURs). This way you'll be sure the packs are always up to date. It is the interest of the users in the community to have their application running properly under Arch, their OS.

Note that I said "built", not "created". Of course, they can also be created, but that would happen only once. Usually, building requires only some time downloading the sources and changing the PKGBUILDs.
If you gather this time you would save for all the apps which can be build by their developers running Arch, you might find yourselves with lots time to use for the more tricky packs, like the ones that require lots of hacks to integrate properly into Arch.
What do you think?

I agree with IceRAM in this, who I know from the psi forums.
anyways, the best for the moment is for IceRAM to contact the psi pkg maintainer and provide him the PKGBUILD. so the maintainer can change sth if he wants to

Re: [incoming]: Psi 0.9.2

I have send an e-mail to the pkg maintainer on 11th of June. No answer... yet.

For the ones still waiting for Psi 0.9.2 to get in extra/, you can always download it from the Psi Sourceforge Website - File List (get the .pkg.tar.gz file) - (direct link).
Note: 150 downloads until now.
