Okay stupid question... How do you get the days to start with a capital? I see no such option in when's manual?

Bedankt op voorhand smile

I just edited the /usr/bin/when file manually smile
Any questions, just shoot, there are no stupid questions wink

Aha ok smile. I've been looking into the Perl there too, but didn't think you'd have it done that way tongue. I also noticed you need mono fonts to keep it nicely outlined...

I will try that program that Codemac suggested too smile.

Thanks guys!

Edit: 'remind' does look nice in the week/month views but the output isn't that nice if you have it called by conky (well if you just call it without parameters it lists your todos). I still got my celly for the complex stuff tongue.

Re: January 2008 Screenshots

sure, i lifted it off this talented guy from deviantart; the original is here. if you like the style, you might want to check out some of his other stuff.

i cleaned it up and set the aspect ratio to widescreen for my personal purposes. i sent it back to imageshack for you, you can find it here.

Re: January 2008 Screenshots

Really nice fonts configuration. I was tuning subpixel hinting but haven't got so good results. Could you post your .fonts.conf (or whatever you use), please?

Re: January 2008 Screenshots

i don't have access to my box atm (i'm at work), and i'm going away for the weekend, but i'll look it up when i get back on sunday evening.

edit: i'm back on my box now. i've only been tinkering with xfce settings; hinting is set to full and sub-pixel hinting is set to rgb. not sure if it's of much help to you, but i hope you figure something out.

I ended up with *-lcd packages and I'm satisfied with them but thanks anyway.
