Thanks. In your first screen is Gnome I think. Do you know how to find Syntesis theme?
Also how to change the default Gnome logo near the Applications Places System menu to the arch logo?
Thanks

I searched but I didn't find something with this name.
Seems like the author took down his website. Somebody re-uploaded Synthesis over on the Ubuntu forums: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=576309

I used the Tango Generator (http://mejogid.ohallwebservices.com/sit … p?q=node/1) to create my icon set, it has an option for distribution branding.

Not at all : http://archlinux.pastebin.com/m798cf7da
There is some hostname specific stuff in there though. I change the color of the '@' in my prompt depending on the host I am on, and some named directories.

@lyrae: As many others here have said, you have an absolutely beautiful screenshot. :-) Do you know where I can obtain the standard 07_55 font from? It seems like a good terminal font to use (I spend a good majority of my time using a terminal while I'm logged on).
Thanks

The wallpaper is RaisedFist's wallpaper from this thread: http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=43070
The rest is pretty basic: gnome; pypanel; gnome-terminal; mpd+sonata

Its been about 3 weeks now that I've been free of windows.
Love it.
Once again google arch wiki and the forums have been extremely helpful with the transition.
Where did you find the awesome wallpaper?
