HI, I got a USB Keyboard and HUB but I simply cannot make it work under linux!
So far, the only thing I have discovered is that once the kernel begins load, de keyboard completely stops working. At grub or at BIOS it does work perfectly.
The same happened at Debian 4 install CD, Crux 2.3 CD, Arch 0.8 CD and on every other linux CD I had at home!
If I try to use the fallback image, but a kinit kill kernel panic happens (there is another post with the exatly same error, as soon as I find, I will post where).
At GDM, the caps lock light blinks every 30/40 seconds. If I type, for instance, the letter "F" once, after 30/40 seconds the username edit is full with "F"s.
I also have a USB mouse, but it works fine.
PS.: I dont have a Windows installation to see if the problem is with the keyboard, but at the W2K install disk the keyboard works fine.

The error described in this post (http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=42848) happens when I use the fallback image.

usbinput was already there, added usb.
The only chance is that the error (http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=42848) now happens with the "normal" kernel image.

Looks like my keyboard is not supported in kernel 2.4, and so far I didnt find anything about kernel 2.6...
Return the keyboard probably will be the best to do.
