can anyone see that image? ...it's store in a server in china..
i've googled but can't find any solution because i don't know how to describe this situation...

Hello!

You image is fine and I can see it properly in Canada.
But, I did not have any solution...

Is it possible to start IE in a shell to see if wine print any errors messages?

I have exactly the same problem - and it is very hard to describe or search for!
Another problem I have, which is probably related, is with Personal Knowbase windows in Wine showing 'X' icons at the top right-hand side of windows, rather than the usual hide/minimize/close icons.

Both IEs4Linux and Personal Knowbase display properly using Wine on Mepis 7.0 (Debian Etch based).
PS: I get no messages, error or otherwise, when I run ./ie6 in a console.

STOP PRESS: I have found the fix for IEs4Linux: you must use version 2.99.0.1 with recent Wine releases, not 2.99.0. See http://www.tatanka.com.br/ies4linux/news/54

Was having the same problem on Mandriva. Have to give this solution a try
