Laptop 'Fn' Function keys.

Hi all. My question is fairly simple.

How can I bind my function keys with xmodmap/xbindkeys/something else? I mean what's their keycode/how are they specified in a file. I would like to run my WM without having to load gnome-settings-daemon, but sadly gnome-settings-daemon is also responsible for the good workings my laptop's Fn keys.
The particular ones I'd like to bind are the brightness, volume and mute ones.

My laptop is a Compal IFL-90 if that helps.

My answer is even simpler than you question!

There is a wiki! Search for xbindkeys and you will find following things:
http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Extra_Keyboard_Keys
http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Get … ns_Working
http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Hotkeys
