kernel 2.6.24.1 and visor no longer working (palm syncing)

Don't know much about kernel issues, so hoping someone can help me out.

I was previously syncing a Palm m130 with kpilot, but since the kernel update I've not been able to sync, and I'm getting this from 'dmesg':

usb 1-1: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 6
usb 1-1: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 7
usb 1-1: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
visor: probe of 1-1:1.0 failed with error -5

Any ideas?
