i have overheating! I got burned!
I didn't have it some time ago.
Gathering the net i found:
1 - Write support to control of temperature limits got removed from kernel (are they getting nuts? my hd limits are set to 98ºC!)
2 - No lm-sensors working for my laptop (Toshiba satellite pro 6100)
3 - Manual fan enabling via fnfx (http://fnfx.sourceforge.net/) doesn't seem to set it at full speed when needed.
4 - The closest sollution i found (didn't try yet) is this: http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=42700, but i didn't need this 3-4 weeks ago!
What's going on? I get a laptop, it works, and then after some time i am enforced to stay in my standard computer because windows does not give me the tools i need for work!
