laptop hangs on battery

Hi,

I have a hp nx6325 laptop. I installed archlinux a month ago, so i hadn't the time to test when precisely does these hangs occur. They seem rather random. The only thing that connects them, that I'm using or starting xorg and I'm on battery.
Many times it happens right after boot, when gdm is starting. It never happens when i'm on AC, and it didn't happen when i unplugged the adapter and continued working on battery (but I'm not sure, that it won't happen, I tried that only twice).

When the hangs happen, nothing moves but the cursor, so i had to turn off my laptop manually.

These hangs occured when i tried fedora8,zenwalk,opensuse before arch, too.

Does anyone know how to fix this?
