two /usr/bin/X instances
as for subject, I found I have two /usr/bin/X instances running, is this normal? If not what should I do?
I use kde and found this out with KDE System Guard.
The two processes have a PID of 18097 and 18092, it looks like only 18092 is using cpu...

Possible just your login manager (KDM, GDM, etc.) running in the background. What does a "ps aux" show?
