The wall is from Desktopography.  They have a lot of good ones.  The url is http://pixel.customize.org/.  This is a direct link to another website that has it (unless you want to sift through desktopography) : http://www.iluvislam.com/v1/showphoto.php?photo_id=68

Thats not gmrun.  Its just a small aterm.  And it is urxvt just with NCMPC on it.  Photobucket just for some reason destroys pictures.  Its The original resolution was 1200x800.  I've got a deviantart now but I'm not sure how to do the thumb nail thing with it for this thread.  http://drcraniumla.deviantart.com/art/New-Desk-77599188 .  that should be better.

.Xdefaults (nothing special)

I'm sorry but I cannot find anything related to urxvt in your .Xdefaults, did I miss anything?

Just a thought lyrae.. have you ever considered doing something like this to pypanel??    (excuse the use of the wallpaper icons and openbox style  just hacked it together quick as a concept rather then something id polish up for everyday use.

No, I haven't consider it because it doesn't use pixmaps as you can with bmpanel.

Nice set-up - could you let me know what irssi theme that is (or tell me where to look if you've already answered this before)

Thanks, and yeah it's the skeita theme I stole from moparx with the "nickcolor" and "title" scripts.

http://irssi.org/themefiles/skeita.theme

then scroll down for additional posts - jump to page 15 of the thread for all the action wink

No worries.  i just was curious.  where i use openbox and dont get the option of having pixmaps ive started wondering how it would look if i figured out a way to have more then the usual looking pypanel.. the only answer i could come up with was making pypanel transparent completely and photoshopping images to have the panel in my wallpaper to fake it being pixmapped.. kinda cheap way to do it but the results arent THAT bad IMO

My .vimrc and and .Xresources (Though the latter won't be of use for you since I'm using gnome-terminal and it does not read Xresources AFAIK. I'm using the color scheme called Tango that comes with gnome-terminal.) can be found at http://hg.nooms.de/dotfiles/file/. The Vim theme is Fruity converted for terminal use.

Re: February 2008 Screenshots

Here's a new one. The layout is basically the same as my previous one, but I went orange/light brown this time.
Does that mean I'm missing Ubuntu? --'.

200802222020091024x768eq3.th.png200802222020141024x768ke3.th.png200802222020471024x768sa7.th.png

The wallpaper comes from www.animewallpapers.com, with slightly modified color levels in order to make my tilda and conky text more readable.
