What options can I set for the configuration section of my graphics card if I want to improve it's performance? This is my current configuration in my xorg.conf:
Section "Device"
Identifier "Card0"
Driver "nvidia"
VendorName "Intel Corporation"
BoardName "82915G/GV/910GL Integrated Graphics Controller"
Option "Coolbits" "1"
EndSection

Use nvidia-settings from the command line or NVIDIA X Server Settings from the menu to generate a xorg.conf file. You don't need to have it overwrite your current one; It will let you put it wherever you want. It should pick the optimal settings for your card.

I may have jumped a little ahead of myself. It may be necessary to have nvidia-xconfig create the original xorg.conf, then edit through the other.

Any idea on how to modify the "Max Frames to Render Ahead" option?

Any idea on how to modify the "Max Frames to Render Ahead" option?
I think that for difference of Windows here By default max frames rendered ahead = 0 which means no hardware lag (like in Windows)
