Hi,
I wanted to know if anyone else is suffering this.
I have X configured for compiz (but compiz is not running). I run blender and it works for a long while, but at one point it kind of freezes for a second, then the whole screen is turned off and on again. After that, blender (and the machine) is completely unresponsive. I can use sysrq or the poweroff button (since I configured acpi to do poweroff on that), but no ctrl+alt+backspace nor ctrl+alt+delete.
This is really wierd, I suspect that intel drivers are the issue.
I have an Intel 965GM card on an Acer Extensa 5620.
