Hello,
First of all, I'm a fresh user to Linux and not familiar with the installation process yet. However, I've downloaded the ISO and burned it to a CD. The BIOS is configured to boot from CD and everything is OK except the most important part of all, beginning to install.
When it comes to to CD boot, it simply skips it and starts Windows alternatively! It's just seconds to show the following message:
Boot from CD/DVD :
_
then Windows get started.
Is there a way to install Archlinux on a partition and keep Windows on another?
Regards,
Laser

Try burning iso at lower speed, could be a write error.

Hello Ashren,
I've burned it on the lowest speed of 16x as recommended in the Beginners Guide.
Thank you.

Are you burning the Iso correctly. There are some instructions here on how to use infra recorder to do this in windows.

Been awhile since I've done it but when you get Boot from CD/DVD
What happens if you hit a key?

Thanks gazj, I think I've been doing it wrongly. Let's wait and see!

FeatherMonkey,
Do you mean hitting ALL keys? That's exactly what I've been doing every time I get there but no response at all.
