Weird wmii problem

Hi,
I have a strange problem with wmii since I updated from 3.5 to 3.6. There is no text on the status bar at the bottom of the screen. The tags aren`t labeled and I cannot see the output of my status-file (date, cpu load etc.).Although wmii remains usable (at least if you remember your tag-names wink), this is quite annoying. dmenu works perfect, though. All fonts are visible there and it performs like expected.

What I have tried so far:
1) Removed wmii and reinstalled it
2) Started wmii with default config
3) Tried different WMII_FONT-Settings
3) Reinstalled dmenu
4) Removed wmii and built the newest snapshot from wmii.suckless.org from source. Exactly the same behavior as described above.
5) Tried both plan9port and 9base. With them, rc.wmii was parsed instead of wmiirc, but again no labeled tags or the status-output.

I have no idea what I could do further, maybe someone has another idea.

System-Specs:
Latest Arch-Linux (updated the complete system yesterday)
Core 2 Duo CPU, 32-Bit Arch Linux
dmenu 3.4-1
wmii 3.6
libixp 0.4-1

Re: Weird wmii problem

so its not like your color-config is black on black? does s.th. happen when you click on the space where we would expect a tag?
