Splashy theme with new logo

Hi all,

I'm maintaining splashy in AUR. The current default theme uses still the old logo and I'd like to change this.
Has anybody already done somthing with the new logo or is willing to do it?

I made a simple theme for splashy during the logo contest. It doesn't feature the logo, just a simple black background with a progress bar that matches the logo color.

Hrmm, well, I admit I'm just getting the art files sorted out so I can't guarantee it'll be there in say 3 months, but for now go right ahead.

Hey there... Will splashy work during the shutdown, restart etc.. processes ? As for now, it doesn't.. I'm planning to do a GDM theme with the new logo but if you give me a how-to article for splashy theme, I can also make one for that too..

Splashy on shutdown and reboot isn't possible with current sysvinit and initscripts. It's a daemon, that is killed, when killall5 is executed. Debian and others use a patched killall5 command, that can omit processes. To support this feature the initscripts must also be patched and so on...

Didn't know what colors to use so I tried to make the logo standout with a shadow. I'm sure someone else can do better. If anyone wants the svg to make improvement just email me as I don't have anywhere to host it..

I do not intend to release a logo'ed version of bootsplash/splashy themes because of the distortion that occurs at many resolutions. To each their own though, so feel free to make'em any way you like.

I've made a splashy theme based on the SLiM theme by Gleidson.
I don't know if I am allowed to upload it to AUR, cause I used his/her graphics. I already made a PKGBUILD. If it's ok I will upload it.

Please try and upload it if you can get permission. At the moment I'm using a similar wallpaper slightly modified as a splashy theme.
