Gnome-screensaver reset brightness

When using gnome screensaver with laptop mode, it reset my brightness to max every time it is activated so that if I'm on battery power, the screen is as dim as it can but once the screensaver kicks in, it goes to max brightness and I have to manually change it. Xscreensaver didn't have this problem and the gnome one looks prettier on the lock screenn (:p) so its it fixable?

Re: Gnome-screensaver reset brightness

Do you have gnome-power-manager installed?  I'm pretty sure that will stop this.
