To explain the problem in more detail, I can't seem to get a nice, smooth curve in GIMP with my tablet. Even if I go with faster strokes, the result is linear, as you can see in the bottom right example. Do it with a larger curve and it becomes more pronounced. I can't figure out what the problem is; I'm sure that the tablet is capable of moving in a curved line quickly, just like my mouse is. If it's GIMP's fault, can anyone help me find a good raster image editor that has better tablet support?
As a side note, I'd love to find good software for pixel art; comparable to Windows' Graphics Gale (http://www.humanbalance.net/gale/us/). Does any exist for Linux?
