How to start Bluetooth audio service at boot

Hi,

I am using GNOME and the Bluetooth-Applet. In Settings I can watch/start/stop my desired daemons. HCID is activated after login.
Audio service has to be started manually. I guess I have to tweak the /etc/rc.d/bluetooth script somehow, to get audio service activated
at session-start. What do I have to change? Any Idea?

Re: How to start Bluetooth audio service at boot

If you use GNOME and you want to activate a service when starting a user session, the best way is to lauch gnome-session-properties and add the correct command in the list of programs that GNOME lauches at startup.

Modifying the /etc/rc.d/wahtever script will start the service when the system is booted.

I know there is a template for rc.d daemon scripts, but I can't remember where.

I think I found the answer myself:

In /etc/bluetooth you find several files.

There is an "audio.service" file. Your have to open it and change it to this:

[Bluetooth Service]
Identifier=audio
Name=Audio service
Description=Bluetooth Audio service
Autostart=true
