[SOLVED] Unable to properly change resolution in Quake Wars demo

Hi all,

I downloaded the Enemy Territory Quake Wars demo last night (1.1 is the latest?). When I attempt to change the game resolution the game screen sort of gets smaller in the bottom left of the monitor, with the rest of the screen all black. It's quite odd. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm running Gnome with Compiz-fusion and the latest Nvidia drivers.

Thanks

1.4 is the latest patch on the retail game.

I'm not able to help you with the resolution issue though. I run the game at 1920x1200 and have no black borders. I'm also using the latest nvidia drivers with gnome, but I am not using compiz-fusion. Maybe compiz is the issue?

Re: [SOLVED] Unable to properly change resolution in Quake Wars demo

I installed version 1.4 with the in-game updater. Turning off Compiz-fusion didn't change anything. What I did though is just changed the game resolution and then exited the game. The game screen looked fine when I start it back up.

I guess I'll go ahead and mark this as solved.
