Screen Resolution on VirtualBox
Hi guys,
I've just installed arch into a virtualbox virtual machine. However I am unable to get a screen resolution of 1280x800. I have tried Xorg -configure. That just crashes into a blank screen. I have created a xorg.conf file with a screen resolution of 1280x800 and that still not work. While the height is correct, the arch linux resolution just isn't wide screen. Does anyone have a solution?

This may be obvious, but did you load the guest extensions for the Arch guest? You only get basic VESA video if you do not install the guest extensions.

I have installed the guest extensions however I am using the VESA driver. Which driver should I use?

vboxvideo is the correct driver.
