The program '<unknown>' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadColor (invalid Colormap parameter)'.

(Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)"
I get this both on Arch x86_64
and Arch chroot32...
I am using Nvidia closed drivers - are there any special commands to add to the Xorg.conf or something I am missing? PCSX doesnt seem to load the video.

Probably not as helpful as you wanted, but I tried setting up PCSX (well PCSX-df to be exact) and I could not get the in-game video to run anything other than jerky and slow, no matter what plugins I tried.
The solution for me was to switch to EPSXE - everything worked as expected, and my state saves were recognised too <3 Takes the same plugins, a few of which are included in AUR (I also recommend the useful 'EPSXE-launcher' script).
