For now I haven't got an idea for the font (one could look up the fonts the l33t hax0rz use when they hack web pages), but I would definitely remove the quotes from "the phrak", we don't need them, we all know who he is tongue

I found a font that has the effect I wanted and I removed the quotes.

Re: Arch Linux Schwag

I've also updated the 'Ready For' stickers to use the new arch colours using a logo thayer sent me. Things are starting to stabilize. I'm still thinking about the best way to organize the product lines, but that won't affect how products look.

Let me know what you think or if you can improve it.

I suggest changing the font to Courier Roman (too bad they don't allow uploading custom fonts sad)
+ make "white on dark black" and "terminal green (#009900) on dark black" variants wink

oh, and 13 is a bad number for a font size tongue 14 would be better.

nope, you've got to hack him! And as a proof you have to post his IP+root-pw, so we can check that you really hacked him!

I added a terminal green on dark grey with white on black as a 'suggested customization' so I don't have to maintain multiple products....

Does anyone know what the trademark/copyright/selling restrictions are on Ewing's Tux logo? I'm thinking of adding some generic Linux merchandise, and maybe someone could combine tux with thayer's arch...

Re: Arch Linux Schwag

Hey guys,

I just made my first order. I managed to get a couple of promotion codes I can't use:

WLMSHTKCCIQLVQBQMULK  $5 off your next purchase of $20 or more expires 3/19/2008.
WWSTRRNJSFNSHFWNSRLO $10 off order of $50 or more expires  4/11/2008

I don't know if these are one-time codes, if they apply only to my e-mail address, or if they can be used multiple times by multiple people. However, feel free to give them a try and see if you get the discount. :-)

Re: Arch Linux Schwag

Are there any v-necks that I'm missing and if there are none, could some be added.
Thanks.

Re: Arch Linux Schwag

There is a Ladies Sheer V-Neck if you customize any shirt, select 'ladies' and fashion. It appears the only available colour is Navy though.

I wish they had case badges. One with the new logo on a black background! That would be awesome.

Hey all,

Zazzle is having a spring promotion right now, $4 off any clothing item (t-shirts, women's shirts, hoodies, baby jumper, etc) until March 28. Use this promotion code when you check out: ZAZZLEBREAK8

Re: Arch Linux Schwag

I'm looking at bumper stickers. I love the design of "Powered by Arch Linux" but I have a small concern. The sticker is 3''x11'' so I guess the arch sticker would be around 2'' inches tall. Isn't that too big? I think usually those laptop stickers are ~2 times smaller, am I wrong?

And by the way thanks for great new schwag smile I'm almost ready to get a t-shirt, maybe a cup and those stickers smile

Re: Arch Linux Schwag

never mind, I used the "customize" and put several sizes on one sticker. Will find out soon how it came out smile

p.s. one bad thing about zazzle though, they are shipping the t-shirt and stickers separately, which is strange ...

That's awesome! Let me know what size is ideal and I'll try to make them all the same.
