Re: Screen and mocp

I've commented out the theme entry in .moc/config but I still can't open mocp in screen !!

Maybe it's a PATH thing I'm not sure.

Any hints are appreciated.

Re: Screen and mocp

I have run moc in screen without any problem.

Could you post your moc config file so we can take a look at it?

# echo (from $PATH) with 2 parameters: 'Playing:' string and the title. Even

# contains `rm -rf /`.

# ExecCommand1        = "cp %f /mnt/usb_drive"
# ExecCommand2        = "/home/joe/now_playing %i"

# Display the cursor in the line with the selected file. This can be usefu with
# a braille display.
# UseCursorSelection    = no

# Set the terminal title when running under xterm.
#SetXtermTitle        = yes

# Display full paths instead of just file names in the playlist.
#PlaylistFullPaths    = yes

By the way, I had to remove the comment in the theme section in order to play it in a normal terminal (which is urxvt).
Otherwise I got exactly the same error !?

Thanks for answering smile

Re: Screen and mocp

I see from your config file that you haven't had any theme selected. Copy one of the theme file from /usr/share/moc/themes to your ~/.moc/themes folder (create the folder if you don't have one already) and try again.

Oh, and don't forget to edit your config file to point to the theme. For example:

# Theme file. This can be absolute path or relative to
# /usr/share/moc/themes/ (depends on installation prefix) or ~/.moc/themes/
Theme            = ~/.moc/themes/green_theme

should do the trick.

Also, try comment out this section:

# The theme used when running on on xterm
XTermTheme        = darkdot_theme

Hope this help. wink

Re: Screen and mocp

I still got the same error:

FATAL_ERROR: Can't open theme file: No such file or directory

And when I'm running mocp in urxvt, it's working fine, but still not in Screen sad

and if I comment out the XTermTheme line it wont work in urxvt !

I don't know what's wrong with your setup. But my moc is working under screen just fine. I have installed the moc-devel package from AUR.
