I am getting and error
reiserfs_fill_super: can not find reiserfs on hda3
hda3 is the /tmp directory. I did format that partition with reiserfs. I did have to add it to fstab manually after the install because during install when I tried to add the /tmp partition, it told me that installation was aborted. So I opted to just create the partition, but not tell Arch installer about it.
Now I get an error on boot that I have too many mounts - don't know the exact error yet - sorry. I believe that the error listed above is related to this bootup message.
Any ideas?

Maybe you just have 2 tmp items in /etc/fstab ? Normally arch adds /tmp as tempfs to fstab during install process
tmpfs /tmp tmpfs defaults 0 0
