I am having trouble installing on dmraid because I can't quite mount the device.
I think I could if I could build my own install disk, by modifying the last available one.
What I need to know in order to do so is some information on how the current ISO is built.
From what I can figure the key directory is the isolinux directory, which contains the vmlinuz file and the initrd.img
From what I can tell initrd.img is the ramdisk file containing all the relevant files and so on. This is what in part needs getting at.
I can get at the kernel and put in the latest tweaked how I want it.
What I want to do is to mount the initrd.img and see what is in it, so I can then edit it. I also need the kernel to be able to boot with a normal .img file.
Can anyone help with mounting the ramdisk image?
Kind regards
