can not boot after upgrade

I upgrade my system yesterday, with the testing repo enabled. Now I stop after "loading udev event" on boot. It seems the system just lost control of monitor. The led kept blinking. Even the "fallback" boot is not working. Maybe it is I skeept the feedback after udev upgrade. Is there any way to save my system?

Re: can not boot after upgrade

Only activate testing repo, if you know how to rescue your system!!!!
Short instruction:
-boot with the install cd
-chroot to your existing (actual) installation
-comment or delete the testing repo entry from pacman.conf
-do a pacman -Syu
-look at the output from pacman which packages are newer on your pc and install those manually
-reboot....and normally it should boot again

OR:

-boot from install cd
-chroot to your existing installation
-fix the problem

Re: can not boot after upgrade

Thanks a lot!
I will give it a try.

Another question:
There is some packages I can't find EXCEPT testing repo. And some people told me that the testing repo is for packages which does not get enough vote to be put into extra. Now it seems that they are under REAL testing. Please! I am confused.

The repo for this is community.  You will also be interested in the AUR:  http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/AUR.
