[solved] Pm-suspend/s2ram didnt work, then worked, then didnt work...

I'm on a Thinkpad T61 with the Nvidia closed drivers...

s2ram did work but not fully -

My laptop went to sleep mode, and then woke up in a second after that without me doing anything (... how do I keep it in sleep mode?)

For some reason, it worked on Sunday (and i was happy)

Then on Monday whether it was me upgrading or inputting some commands to make the LED light for Wifi flicker, it stopped working...

Does anyone have an idea or encountered a similar experience? How did you fix it? The only problem with s2ram/pm-suspend is that after going to sleep mode, it wakes up instantly...

--- EDIT

after removing some USB cables- i traced the problem to my Wireless USB desktop/mouse... if i disconnect it then S2ram will work - and stay dead until awaken'ed

Hey, I had the same problem on my thinkpad x61s in the past.  Mine was caused by a removable device being left in the usb port that would cause everything to wake up after about 5 seconds.  The thinkpads have some special bios feature that has to do with power supply to usb ports during sleep mode, you might want to play with that to.

Hope that helps, please post back if it does!
