with the udev update, I see some changes need to made. I am not sure exactly what to do and I dont want to mess up my system.
here is my fstab:
#
# /etc/fstab: static file system information
#
# <file system> <dir> <type> <options> <dump> <pass>
none /dev/pts devpts defaults 0 0
none /dev/shm tmpfs defaults 0 0#/dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom iso9660 ro,user,noauto,unhide 0 0
#/dev/cdrom1 /mnt/cdrom1 iso9660 ro,user,noauto,unhide 0 0
#/dev/dvd /mnt/dvd udf ro,user,noauto,unhide 0 0
#/dev/dvd1 /mnt/dvd1 udf ro,user,noauto,unhide 0 0
#/dev/fd0 /mnt/fd0 vfat user,noauto 0 0
/dev/sda1 /boot ext2 defaults 0 1
/dev/sda2 swap swap defaults 0 0
/dev/sda3 / ext3 defaults,noatime,nodiratime 0 1
/dev/sda4 /home ext3 defaults,noatime,nodiratime 0 1
I use hal to automount. should I make any changes?
what else is necessary?
thanks

I need help with this too. I looked at readme-udev.arch.txt and all I can tell from it is that I shouldn't even try to make any changes because I don't know what to do or how I'm supposed to do it all.
