With my goal of making my notebook as power efficient as possible I have gotten everything except the intel driver to play nice. Powertop shows that nothing wakes up too much except for the intel graphics. Apparently this was fixed if you don't use 3D by disabling dri. However, is there any news on the development of a fix while not sacrificing 3D?

It's just like the LED with the iwl3945 driver. It's just not that important for them to bother with. hmm
