Pacman improvement - rebooting system hang after pacman -Syu

May be this is not the right forum, but the little problem I found was just after the install.
The first think everybody do after the installation is a nice pacman -Syu in order to update the system.
After doing it and a reboot my system was haging up after loading the kernel.
I think this is due to a lilo update since i fixed it by running lilo.
I do not think pacman gave me any advice about it ( I am not 100% sure).
The enachment could be to have post upgrade messages for particoular package like lilo.

Re: Pacman improvement - rebooting system hang after pacman -Syu

it actually does this already :

:: Retrieving packages from unofficial...
 cdcd-0.6.5-1.pkg.tar.gz [#################################] 100% | 25K
 libcdaudio-0.99.9-1.pkg. [#################################] 100% | 67K

loading package data... done.
checking for conflicts... done.
upgrading alsa-driver... done.
upgrading alsa-lib... done.
upgrading alsa-utils... done.
upgrading cdcd... done.
upgrading dillo... done.
upgrading flashplugin... done.
upgrading gkrellm... done.
upgrading groff... done.
upgrading lesstif... done.
upgrading libcdaudio... done.
upgrading lilo... warning: extracting /etc/lilo.conf as /etc/lilo.conf.pacnew
done.

Be sure to run 'lilo' after upgrading.

upgrading reiserfsprogs... done.

likely you missed it in the long list you probably got after upgrading for the first time which would have upgrade almost everything. it is always wise to take a look through the list after and -Syu just to see if any of your configuration files, such as pacman.conf, were not replaced. most of the key files are already set not to be upgraded but i always check anyway just incase.

I was almost sure that I missed the message.
So now the suggestion is to put or better repeat warning messages at the end of the list.

My idea was only to show warnings at the end.
