little help with yaourt please

went to the website and intalled server to my mirrorlist

1. cant figure out how to install it.

2. want to install shaman for my kdemod which appears to be in the AUR but I need yaourt to access it, also does shaman access the AUR?

Though I don't know what shaman is. Perhaps it can be installed via yaourt? Yaourt works the same as pacman btw, so it shouldn't cause you any problems.

Note that yaourt accesses the AUR, automating the process for you, but is not necessary. You can manually install any package from the AUR using 'makepkg -cs'.

1. Add the repository to your /etc/pacman.conf file. For example, if you are running i686, add

[archlinuxfr]
Server = http://repo.archlinux.fr/i686

to your /etc/pacman.conf file.
2. pacman -Sy
3. pacman -S yaourt
