Firefox 3 doesn't quit

I just installed firefox 3 beta 4, and it simply doesn't quit on it's own.  The window will exit, but it remains in memory, and if I try to open a new session, I get a "Firefox is still running" error.  So I have to kill it every time I use it.  This happened in Beta 2, but it eventually quit after about 30 sec.  In beta 3 it seemed to be fixed.  Now with beta 4, it doesn't quit no matter how long I leave it.

Anyone else having this problem?

It works fine here, I'm using FF3.0b4-1 from unstable.

Same here, but with Minefield 3.0b5pre, pretty much all nightlies that I've tried, including yesterday's (18mar08).

Alright, I've pretty much scoured the internet and haven't been able to find any solution or even any really mention of this bug.  For now I've just switched back to firefox2, because there really no noticable difference in speed on my system.  However, if anyone has any thoughts on this, I'd love to hear them.

this problem is specific to kdemod 3.5.9 for me
