Thinkpad HDAPS - still working? Anyone using it?

I want to configure HDAPS on my X60s to have it shockproof.

Now I don't know if HDAPS in AUR is reliable and working, or if it will cause some problems because it hasn't been updated for quite a long time.

So... is anyone using it with the latest Arch Kernel? How is it working?
