Hi, when i was using ubuntu, I used iceape, iceweasel and icedove. Is there anyway to get them in Arch? thanks. They also com eiwth zenwalk so tha means that there not only for ubuntu.

theres no need for iceweasel in arch.
besides ff3 is snappier use that.

Is it really settling? My impression is the only differences is the the ice* have had the mozilla proprietary stuff removed.

Iceweasel is just Debian's version of Firefox with a bit of branding changed and perhaps a misc patch or two -- which, in fact, I believe IS the reason they rename it Iceweasel: http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Firefox . I think the same principle applies to the other ice* packages.

"Settle"? It's the original version of the same program. Did Debian have a patch for seamonkey that was so useful that seamonkey is less without it?

That's a great reason! And a great thing about Arch is it gives you the tools to use the software you want, even if Arch doesn't supply it. It's your computer. Go for it!
