Hi there
I need to install my network drivers for my new motherboard. Unfortunately, this is a fresh install so I don't have a GUI to do it (and I can't get one because I can't get my network up to do it!). This means I need to install my lan drivers from the CD that came with my motherboard from the console. I've mounted the cd and navigated to the directory where the drivers are. What is the command for installing them and where should they go?
Thanks:)
Edit: I was looking at DFI's site and it says
Driver LAN Drivers
OS All
File LPP35_Marvell_LAN.zip
Size 27,339,860 bytes
Date 2007/07/31
Description LAN Driver for P35 series under Windows XP/Vista 32/64bits
does this mean it won't work? For OS it says all but the description says Windows.
Also, the drivers are in .exe form (I assume for some sort of setup), can these even be run at all? If not, would the download link they provided perhaps contain the actual files needed instead of a setup wizard (which I sincerely hope it's not)?
Need some major help, here, please! Thanks

Those are windows drivers. Your Marvell lan and chipset are most likely supported by the linux kernel. In any case, you won't be needing the cd nor the downloadable drivers. (btw .exe's are windows executables.)

Hmm that's weird. I have my connection set perfectly to dhcp and it still won't work. My last thought was that it was the drivers. I guess I'm back to square one and still without internet on my arch box.
