i have the desktop set up, but i keep getting problems with the larch stuff when i go to build.  It tells me a file isnt in the repo for some reason and ive been unable to get it to work, its something im doing since no one else is having that problem.  The other problem I had is, how to handle users.  When you isntall, it will create a root account and you would then need to create your own account, then change the root password etc.  So its not worth it for an end user.  The onlygood thing out of it is, i got a list of programs that i can install really quickly to give someone a complete desktop that isnt filled with worthless crap and programs.

edit: its spring break this week, Ill see what i can come up with, if someone wants to help I would love to just be a 'part' of this   I would love to get absolute linux's admin scripts installed on this.  That would actually make it worth using. Ill get back at it, i refuse to be a start and dont finish a project person, RL got in the way.  Ill figure out my problem with the build.  My new PC is coming in a day, so hopefully i can get another PC set up to use for this project.
