How to restore nautilus desktop?

Several pacman -Syu's later, my nautilus won't start anymore. Does someone know how to 'reset' nautilus? I think this is necessary, as root can still use it, but not my user account.

Re: How to restore nautilus desktop?

There is a problem in the users config for the new gnome.  Move the .gnome and .gnome-desktop dirs out of the way and delete all of the /tmp stuff.  Then restart x and you can move back the links, etc from the moved dirs into the new ones.  You will need to redo the settings if you have changed anything.

There is probably a better way to do this by editing the config files to remove the offending setting, you might be able to find it by starting nautilus from a terminal and seeing if there are any messages that point to the problem.  You might find this in /var/log/... also.
