Mplayer, no right click

When I run mplayer dvd:// I am unable to right click the video and choose options and there is no player to choose from. While that is fine by me as I can keyboard my way through it, it makes it difficult for other users on this computer. Is there a setting I might have gotten rid of that I need to add?

Re: Mplayer, no right click

I never have had to in the past. This just recently started happening. Like in this shot, the blue player, I don't even get that.

That's gmplayer, not mplayer itself.

Re: Mplayer, no right click

While I couldn't find that, I must have it installed as I said it comes up sometimes. Here is a shot. It just doesn't always show up. When it does, I can right click the movie and choose options but that is the only time.

Re: Mplayer, no right click

$ pacman -Ql mplayer | grep bin
mplayer /usr/bin/
mplayer /usr/bin/gmplayer
mplayer /usr/bin/mencoder
mplayer /usr/bin/mplayer

As you can see mplayer package installs a number of different binaries.  "Mplayer" is controlled from the CLI / by key bindings, "gmplayer" has a right click menu and the little player/control window -- so it all depends on which binary you use.
