I'm sorry, but I don't have a clue about what this really mean, or if I have to fix something. I haven't encountered any issues yet, so I frankly don't know whether these two identical messages have an impact on my system. What advice do you knowledgeable people give me?

It seems that you have been affected by this: http://www.archlinux.org/news/386/.

What package were you installing at the time?

I read the news, but since it plainly states "Pay attention to the upgrade notes because some things have changed and may require some action" I don't know what to do.
I didn't install any packages besides upgrading my system. Packages upgraded:
Targets: perl-5.10.0-3 cairo-perl-1.044-1 cddb_get-2.27-3
e2fsprogs-1.40.8-1 cryptsetup-1.0.6-1 filezilla-3.0.8.1-1

purple-plugin-pack-2.3.0-1 subversion-1.4.5-4 vorbis-tools-1.2.0-3
Still no signs of malfunctioning, so it might be irrelevant. However this is over my head and I don't know what might happen since "perl-xml-sax" through out those errors.

Look like it is a problem with perl-libxml which hasn't been updated for the new perl packaging. I wouldn't worry about it unless something else is broken. It should be updated soon.
