Hi,
I updated awesome today and now it fails to start.
It seems something is wrong with the package, anybody facing the same problem ?
sense ~ $ pacman -Qs awesome
local/awesome 2.2-1

Hm - I encountered it yesterday - version 2.2-1 did not work. But I upgraded once again - after few hours - and version 2.2-2 works splendid. Beware the small changes in .awesomerc syntax though. So, summing up - wait, upgrade again, check syntax.
Hope it will help,
tami

Yes somehow I uploaded the x86_64 version of awesome 2.2-1 in the i686 repo so that is why it was not working. Obviously above was corrected in the 2.2-2 i686 version.
The x86_64 version is still at 2.2-1 as that should be the correct version.
