mplayer picture "destroyed" through amarok analysers

Hi,

everytime i switch through the amarok analysers (accidently, to switch it off again) mplayers picture is fucked up, i can still hear the sound but the picture is gone and i need to restart xorg. what is this and is there a way to avoid the x restart?

mplayers output looks normal after restarting mplayer:

Ugh. I hate Mario Barth...

Anyways, is there any output when the error itself happens? Try to follow the output of MPlayer when you cause the error through mousing over Amarok's analyzers. It would also be interesting to know what graphics card/drivers you're using.
