Optimal settings for 46"

Hi. I got a 46"cd tv with VGA connection to it(got hdmi also, but my gfxcard only has 2 dvi out)

I have arch installed with compiz-fusion and xfce and wondering what are the optimal dpi and font settings for that display? right now i have setdpi to 60 and its okey for menyes etc, but in f ex firefox the fonts are way to small. Changing font settings in the firefox prefs does not work well cause i end up with screwed up design on the webpages i view..  Same goes for the skype. The contactlist is extrimly small and unreadble..

Could someone come with some suggeestions on what i should do and what settings i shoud use?

Thx..

Br fjodork

p.s. if there are some settings/config files i need to post, just let me know, since i have NO idea as to what needs to be done:P

Re: Optimal settings for 46"

Try using the regular 96dpi setting, or let xorg choose it automatically.

Re: Optimal settings for 46"

This happened to me as well. I changed the size of the fonts and when I took it out the fonts were enormous hmm
