How well will this wireless PCI card work?

My computer has a TP-Link TL-WN353G with the RealTek 8185 chipset.

Is this going to work or give me a hard time? If it does work, what wireless driver should I use when I install Arch?

Google didn't seem to clear anything up for me.

Re: How well will this wireless PCI card work?

from what I could find you seemed to have stumbled upon one of the few wireless cards that works with entirely free software. there seem to be native drivers for linux. the site is here:

http://rtl8180-sa2400.sourceforge.net/

I can't find a package for it in arch, but that may just be because it's part part of the kernel package. there is a module on my system called rtl8187, but as I don't have the same wireless chipset as you, I can't test if it does the trick.

In any case I wouldn't anticipate a lot of difficulty. good luck.

Fantastic. Thank you. I can't mark this thread as solved quite yet because I haven't tried it. Hopefully soon, though.
