Two PS/2 keyboards at once?

Can I do this with *nix via a PS/2 splitter? The reason I ask is that on my Myth box I use a wireless KB now, but if the batteries die, which they do about once or twice a month, the box will hang and naturally won't record anything.

Re: Two PS/2 keyboards at once?

I saw some1 pluggig a PS2 mouse into a PS2 keyboard port (pentium 1 box with i430fx 82371 chip set, no keyboard at all, windows 95) and it worked.

Maybe the 2 ports actually are universal ?

Re: Two PS/2 keyboards at once?

Oh duh, I should have remembered that since I've done it in the past accidentally. Plugging a KB into the mouse slot and had it work that is. So... While they both may not work if they're both operational, provided the batteries are dead on the wireless, the other KB should result in the system booting. Thanks!

Re: Two PS/2 keyboards at once?

It's expensive buying another one, and since I have an extra PS/2 KB lying around, I might as well just use that.
