The title says it all.
From now on we are going to open a forum thread for every newsletter published, so its content can be discussed, and ideas can be given to improve it. All constructive criticism is welcome, and is greatly appreciated. Please, try to keep as on topic as possible. On topic means, discuss everything that has to do with something written in the discussed newsletter.
- Thanks

Oh, well, I need to make a note then:
All the parts of the newsletter that does not say 'Contributed by' are made by me.
But well, sometimes I see it on the forums, or most of the times doing my own research on different news sites.

Might be me that is stupid, but is there a way to use sudo for password confirmation instead of being promted for the root password?

I definitely like the idea started off by Mr. Elendig with the selected IRC quotes - I suppose it adds a touch of flair to the newsletter about our arch community. The only thing I would say about it is that it will be a little tricky to have content that conforms to the forum/project standards (whatever they may be) about IRC quotes as they can be a little awkward in those rare cases.
Also, I'm not sure how many devs become a part of the arch dev team, but it would be kind of nice if every now and then we could have a developer do a little interview of sorts so that fellow archers who don't know a majority of the devs would be able to do so in bit by bit basis.
Otherwise, keep up the great work! I enjoy reading the newsletters :-).
The water never asked for a channel, and the channel never asked for water.

That's what they've been doing for a long time now, isn't it ? And I think all the devs are listed here.
I don't know if there's somebody working on a french translation for the NL but if a group of people begins to do so, I'm willing to join them. I've already translated some of the older interviews there.
<off topic>By the way, xaw, thanks for the Io pkgbuild, although I flagged it as outdated today (but it is updated really often).</off topic>
Oh, and about the newsletter itself, I find it great, I've only noticed this small graphical glitch.

BTW, while on the topic of the newsletter.
How about making the links on the Arch Home page real links?
It's really weird in the 21st century to have to copy/paste urls.

Being a new Arch user I like the forum highlights;-)

most likely the newsletter was more or less finished by that time as there is some time needed for quality assurance and such. I guess it will make it into the next newsletter, although that is not my call

Um, it's called "fact".
EDIT: Anyway, it's great to see an ever bigger NL with this new one-month deadline. I see even better things coming in the next release... if you ISP behaves, that is.
