Hi everybody,
I've first tried ArchLinux on a P4HT, so with the 32bits version.
After some hardware problems, I've changed only MB+CPU+RAM, and I'm now working on a Athlon 64x2.
My question is : is there an easy way to migrate from Arch32 to Arch64 without a full system install ?
Thanks in advance for your helpfull answers.
And sorry for my poor english (I'm a damned froggy ... :$ )

The easiest way: backup your personal files and configs + reinstall.

You could change all the i686 to x86_64 in the pacman.conf and do a
pacman.static -S `pacman.static -Q | cut -f 1 -d " "`
But I don't know if this would work. You're probably better off backing up and reinstalling.

It might work, but chances are that you end up with a totally hosed system. Reinstall.

Agreed with the rest. There's just no sane way to switch your machine over to what is essentially a completely different architecture.

So I'll reinstall the complete system..
