Fluxbox eterm autostart

I use fluxbox as a gui, I want to load an eterm with its own config script on startup with fluxbox. I'd imagine i need to edit the ~/.fluxbox/init file but everything i try doesn't work, anyone know the command to do this?

Re: Fluxbox eterm autostart

Put it in ~/.xinitrc before the "exec fluxbox". If you don't use .xinitrc, well, no idea then. Try the Fluxbox manpage.

Re: Fluxbox eterm autostart

Just edit your ~/.fluxbox/apps file adding this:

[startup] {command }

If i do that, it doesn't load fluxbox

Re: Fluxbox eterm autostart

You need to put an & after all the commands except the fluxbox one.

Re: Fluxbox eterm autostart

What Xentac said, sorry for forgetting to mention that.

~/.fluxbox/apps only works with the development version of Fluxbox (Which is better than the stable one imho).
