MKV file won't work with VLC

Hi, I am trying to play this MKV file. Every MKV file I have ever thrown at VLC has worked so far, but only this one won't. The file does work in Xine and Mplayer, etc. just fine. Here's the output:

And it plays video a-ok as normal, but absolutely no sound with any output

What can I do? If I should compile VLC what edits should I do, etc? Thx in advance
