[SOLVED] about thinkpad-acpi (/proc/acpi/ibm/brightness)

hi,

im on the way to find why gnome-power-manager doesnt show my LCD brightness correctly, although Fn-key works perfect now. It reads data from /proc/acpi/ibm/brightness

BUT in my /proc/acpi/ibm i cant find brightness, only things about led,cmos,hotkey,fan,volume...etc?
Should i do anything to "turn on" this /proc/acpi/ibm/brightness

Solution: /etc/modprobe.d/thinkpad_acpi

options thinkpad_acpi brightness_enable=1
